Weekly Meetings
Sunday School and Bible Class - Sunday 9:15am - 10:00am
Sunday School is for school aged children to learn about the Bible. We begin singing some Bible songs and then children go into groups appropriate to their ages, for a Bible based lesson. All teachers hold a current Blue Card.
Bible Class is a time for the adults to study a part of the Bible, looking to find practical applications for daily living.
Breaking of Bread - Sunday 10:30am - 12:00pm
This is a time to remember and worship our Lord Jesus Christ. It is a time of prayer and hymns are chosen to meditate on Christ’s death and resurrection. Participants are those who are born again believers, baptised and in assembly fellowship. Visitors are welcome to come and observe.
Gospel - Sunday 12:30pm - 1:00pm
After a few hymns, one or two speakers explain the gospel message. The emphasis is on how the Lord Jesus Christ
came into the world to die on the cross for our sins and then, three days later, came back to life.
Prayer Meeting - Wednesday 7:30pm - 9.00pm
This is a time for the local assembly to spend in prayer. After time spent in prayer, a message is shared from the Bible by a member of the assembly (church).
Other Activities
ESL (English as a Second Language) Bible Class - Thursday 6:00pm - 8:30pm
International students, migrants and visitors are welcome to practice their English skills in an informal environment.
We use a short Bible text as starting point, and from there we practice the pronunciation and talk about the
meaning of new words and some grammar features in the text. The sessions are free of charge and they
are conducted by a qualified ESL teacher assisted by volunteers. Help to prepare for the IELTS test is also available.
